So this morning, I wanted to make some healthy juice. I thought I had all the ingredients I needed and then realized that I didn’t have an apple. I couldn’t run to the grocery store because all the vehicles were gone.
Suddenly the Holy Spirit whispered to me, "Take a walk." I almost didn’t listen because I do that sometimes. However I decided to take a walk and just three houses down the block on my street, I found a lady picking apples from her tree. We greeted each other and guess what? She offered me an apple.
The surprising thing is that I didn’t even know that our neighbor had an apple tree. Then it dawned on me that it was God supplying my need even without me asking. I went up the hill towards my house praising God and didn’t even realize how far I had walked. Call me crazy but I know that was my God.
I just want to encourage someone who is feeling discouraged today that if you really look around you, you will see God’s hand moving in your life. I am pressing on the upward way and new heights I am gaining everyday. When in doubt, remember that
"My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen." Philippians 4:19-20
