He Answers, Before We Call!
- PRAYER SAVED MY LIFE

Have you ever wondered why God doesn't answer your prayers? Many Christians struggle with this. I've been there, praying for what seems like hours, days, months, years, or even decades. I won't negate "the wait" that most of us go through in our prayer lives. However, I want to share that more often than not, God answers before we call.
My daughter and I were supposed to take a 7 hours drive. I was initially looking forward to it and even persuaded my daughter that the experience would be great for her too. She skeptically decided to join me on the long journey. She packed all her belongings the night before the trip, but I was too exhausted to pack. I decided to get my things together the next morning.
I arose bright and early Thursday morning. I prayed, studied my Bible, and began packing up the vehicle. While getting myself together, I became anxious about the long drive. This was unlike me. I am used to driving many hours through different states and in different countries without fear or anxiety. For some unknown reason, as I packed, different scenarios (most of which were devastating and dreadful) began running through my mind. I became so overwhelmed that I stopped packing and went to pray.
I recall saying these words, "Lord, if it is Your will that we don't take this long trip, then cancel it. I'm not sure how You'll do it, but if You don't want us to go, then cancel it." After praying, I lingered some more on my knees awaiting clear directions. None came. Eventually, I got up and went to the kitchen. After a few minutes, I had the urge to check my phone. I was so focused on getting things together for the drive that morning, I had not looked at my phone at all.
The first message in my queue was from my best friend. She sent me a message at 11:23pm the night before saying, "Instead of you guys driving down, my hubby can help!" I was elated at her message. I ran to share the news with my hubby. Then, I looked at the time stamp on the message and my heart almost burst with gratitude. God had answered my prayers the night before. While I slept, God had touch the heart of my friend's husband and he offered to help us without anyone asking him.
God answered before I called! I was so grateful that I spent the rest of the day praising and thanking Him for his kindness and faithfulness towards my family. The answer to my prayer was sent before I even prayed. It came at 11:23pm the night before. I didn't know it because I was too busy to check my phone.
If you are in "the waiting period" of your prayers, remember that God has already answered your call. You may not have heard the answer yet and/or you may not have see the manifestation of it yet, but it's already done! Just like Daniel (Daniel 10:12), God has already answered your prayers too and when the time is right He will reveal it to you. He will make it plain. He will bring it to fruition.
Don't ever question His love for you. Don't give up. Don't lose faith. Be confident that the answer has already been giving and you will see it/hear it in God's timing. God does answer before we call. Continue to pray!
Isaiah 65:24 "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear."
