Which Way to Go?

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye." Psalm 32:8

This morning, like every other morning, during my closing worship prayer, I asked God to lighten the traffic for me. I got into my vehicle and as usual, I pulled up the directions on the Global Positioning System (GPS), but did not pay attention to it. I had planned to take one of my two usual routes. During my journey, the Holy Spirit told me to look at the God’s Positioning System. I was three miles away from a route I have NEVER used before. I started talking to myself and asking God why that route? I have never used this route before. His response, “You can have a story to share with Sis. Bastien for her PSML blog.”
When I first turned on my GPS, it indicated that I had an hour and seventeen-minute commute. When I took the route God suggested, my commute was lessened by at least five minutes. Although taking a new route did not make sense to me, I did it anyway. It appeared to be a slower route, but I saved a lot of time.
Thank God for helping me to allow Him to instruct and teach me in the way I should go and guiding me with His eye. It pays to serve Jesus and listen when He speaks. True to His word, I did receive a text message asking for a PSML blog from Sis. Bastien. I eagerly shared this one because it reminds me that God is the best GPS.
"And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." Isaiah 65:24
